Yes. The separation between couples is enforced right at the database level: each couple only ever sees their own financial entries, and no route on eziduo accepts a request without authentication. eziduo doesn't use Open Banking, never asks for access to your bank account, and doesn't store your card number, Stripe handles the Plus subscription payment. There are controlled, always limited exceptions: one aggregated and anonymous, where eziduo can learn that a merchant tends to belong to a certain category from confirmations by several different couples, without ever storing who spent, how much, or when; and two tied to the AI Assistant, when you mark one of its replies as unhelpful and when our team reviews conversations to improve its replies, which is on by default and can be turned off in settings at any time (details in the Privacy Policy).
No. eziduo never asks for access to your bank and doesn't use Open Banking. You enter transactions manually or import your statement as CSV, OFX or PDF.

No. eziduo isn't a bank or a fintech, and it never moves your money. It's a tool for organising and planning your finances as a couple.
Your data is stored securely, and eziduo doesn't use Open Banking or ask for access to your bank account. Reading an imported file is direct for CSV and OFX with a known layout, without AI; only when a new layout shows up do the header row and a small sample of lines go through AI, a single time, to identify the columns. PDF always uses AI to extract the transactions. After that, in any format, each transaction's data goes through AI to suggest a category, merchant name, instalment and subscription, and the AI Assistant also reads your data to answer your questions.
It replaces the need to open a joint account just to see the couple's money together: spending, bills and goals show up in one dashboard, without merging bank balances. It doesn't replace the bank account itself, because eziduo never stores or moves your money.
Not automatically: you tag every entry as ours, mine or yours, and eziduo totals each side and the couple on its own. There's no settle-up calculation like a one-off bill-splitting app; it's a running view of the whole month.
